Prescriptions
Ordering Repeat Prescriptions
You can order a repeat prescription in the following ways:
- Online through the website.
- By posting your request to the practice. If you wish your prescription to be posted back to you, please send a stamped, addressed envelope.
- By visiting the practice.
- By telephone if housebound or over 65. Please call the surgery after 10:00.
Please allow 2 working days for routine prescriptions.
We cannot accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions as this may lead to mistakes being made. We will only accept telephone prescriptions if you are housebound or over 65.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, or our practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications. Notification should appear on your repeat slip highlighted to act as a reminder. Please ensure an appointment is made before your medication runs out, preferably at least two weeks before your next prescription becomes due.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
If you have been advised by the surgery to submit a medication review, please complete our Medication Review form. Please visit our Consulting Room to book an appointment.
